7.13.03 New Direction

Okay, I got myself this new, spiffery idea. I know that it will make the time between issues of FFL even longer, but hear me out. I just bought some manga, as in from the book store, and I got to thinking.

I have decided that FFL will be in a book format from now on, with releases every few months. The pages will be smaller, and there will be more of them. The positives outweigh the negatives. For instance: I will be able to focus on loosening my style due to the fact that I will have to make more pages, I will be able to make a more elaborate story because I won't find myself trying to make every single page some sort of a cliffhanger, and when the true issue finally gets released, it will be more enjoyable to read because it will be a downloadable file which, once downloaded, will have no load time between pages. Another thing is that I should hopefully be more reliable on getting issues out on time because I won't feel pressed to get a certain page done for a certain week, and I will feel more inclined to work on web-based content such as wallpaper, community features, and other goodies. The list of reasons just goes on and on.

This goes into effect now. If you aren't happy about it, too bad. My manga, my decisions. I'll be updating with new info soon. I need to get things organized for this change.

6.20.03 Opening Day

Well look at that.
I now have this shiny little place to call my own. No haphazard layout, only intentional broken links, 800x600 friendliness. Yup, it would seem that life is pretty good. Well, this part at least. We won't get into my personal life for the most part, though.

In other good news, I purchased a whopping $220 USD worth of Anime DVDs. I got the NGE Perfect collection, the first 2 disks of .Hack//Sign and the first disk of Noir (pronounced NO-AR for some odd reason). Yup having money from a graduation party and now from work is nice. Work does suck tho, bleh. Oh well, money is nice. As a consequence of this new job, though, I can only say that I can at best get out a new issue once every week. my free time has officially jumped out of the 17th story window to it's bloody and pancakey demise. Oh well. If I manage to get more out, or if I get little Funni Fantasies done (crap, I didn't get that into here. I'll have to keep it as a filler) or FFL-related artwork, I'll post them in-between official updates.
